129 double decker buses arrive to Baghdad – Ministry of Transport

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Iraqi Ministry of Transport announced the arrival of 129 new double decker commuter buses to transport passengers within the capital, Baghdad.

A ministry statement received by IraqiNews.com stated “We will be revising old bus lines and bus numbers for each region in addition to introducing new lines in support of the  directives of Transport Minister Hadi al-Ameri to serve the needs of  commuters with limited income. ”

It is noteworthy that there are 59 buses still stuck on the Iraqi-Jordanian border that will arrive after the completion of formalities, bringing the total number to 188 double decker buses.
