Strict security measures in Diyala to arrest escapees

Diyala (IraqiNews.com) The security forces in Diyala province increased the security measures to arrest the escapees.

The Director of the media office within Diyala Police Directorate Major, Ghalib Atea, stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “There are strict security measures at the entrances of Diyala provinces where the security elements deployed to prevent the entrance of the escapees to Diyala province.”

“The photographs of the escapees will be posted in the province to help in arresting them,” he concluded.

Earlier, Taji and Abu Ghraib prisoners were attacked by unidentified gunmen who used IEDs, missiles and machineguns and they managed to free many prisoners from the prisons, among them Qaeda elements, on Sunday evening. \END\
