Government unable to impose its control on terrorists, says MP

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP Ali Shubbar of the Citizen bloc stressed that “the escape of the terrorists indicates the government’s inability to control the security situation.”

Gunmen had attacked on last Sunday the Taji and Abu Ghraib prisons using IEDs, mortars and machine guns in an attempt to free the prisoners.

Shubber called to change the structure and plans of the security institution and pursue the corrupts.

He urged the General Commander for Armed Forces, the Prime Minister to have role in the escape of hundreds of inmates through speeding up designating the security ministers, noting “The Prime Minister cannon run the security institution alone.”
