Basra given 2 months to complete preparations for Gulf Cup 22nd

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) After lengthy meeting that lasted for four hours, the Gulf Football Unions’ heads decided, by majority, to grant the Iraqi Basra city timeout till 5th of next October to complete the preparations for hosting the Gulf Cup Championship 22nd.

News reported that the Gulf Cup championship 22nd was transferred from Basra to the Saudi city, Jeddah because of the unstable security situation in Iraq and the non-completion of the infrastructures of the sports city in Basra.
