Mulla calls to replace Maliki for his failure in running security file

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP Haidar al-Mulla of the National Dialogue Front headed by the Deputy Prime Minister, Salih al-Mutleg called to replace the Commander General for Armed Forces CGAF, the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki for his failure in running the security file.

Iraq is witnessing security breaches that led to hundreds of deaths and injuries while the last Sunday witnessed major escape of prisoners in an armed attack adopted by Qaeda on Taji and Abu Ghraib prisons.

Maliki has accused the two prisons’ guards of cooperating with the terrorists, stressing “the guards are affiliated to militias.”

Mulla told IraqiNews.com “All realize well the failure of the CGAF in running the security institution in light of the continuing security breaches over the past eight years especially after Maliki dominated the management of this file without engaging any other side.”

“The one-sided administration of the security file proved failure, so the issue needs changing the CGAF and his strategy and plans,” he added.
