Official attributes weak parliament performance to lack of coordination among senior politicians

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Official Spokesperson of the Kurdistani Alliance, Muaed al-Tayib, attributed the delay in endoring thr laws to the lack of coordination between the Government and Parliament.Tayib reported in statement to IraqiNews.com ”There is a serious delay in the endorsment of the laws due to the political disputes and the lack of coordination between the Legislative and Executive Authorities which weakened the supervisory role of Parliament.””We hope to solve all the political disputes in order to create a better cooperation between the two Authorities to provide protection for Iraqi citizens,” he added.Many political and parliamentary figures described the Iraqi Parliament as powerless and unable to perform its duties properly specially within current political crisis regarding the State management files. \END\
