Urgent – .Shahristani absent at parliament session while Aftan attends it

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Deputy Prime Minister for Energy, Hussein al-Shahristani is absent at the regular session being held today.

Informed source at the parliament told Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “Shahristani did not attend the session of the parliament while the Minister of Electricity, Karim Aftan attended it.”

The parliament Speaker, Osama al-Nijaifi stressed that the Prime Minister, Nouri al-Maliki promised him that both of Shahrisdtani and Aftan will attend the session to discuss with them the deterioration at the electricity sector.”
