IQD 26,500,000,000 allocated to renovate Taji prison

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Council of Ministers allocated IQD 26,500,000,000 to renovate Taji prison in northern Baghdad.

Taji prison has suffered material damages due to the attack adopted by Qaeda on last Sunday along with the attack on Abu Ghraib prison where hundreds of inmates escaped including Qaeda leaders.

A statement by the CoM cited that “The CoM held its regular session on last Wednesday headed by the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki where the Cabinet decided to allocate IQD 26,500,000,000 to rehabilitate Taji prison.”
