Basra ports receive commercial ships, fuel carriers

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Um Qasr and Khor al-Zubair seaports received two commercial ships and three fuel carriers.

A statement by the Ministry of Transportation reported “Um Qasr port of southern Basra received a ship loaded with 19407 tons of sugar coming from Singapore for favor of the Ministry of Trade along with receiving another ship from Britain loaded with 388 containers.”

“Khor al-Zubair port in Basra received two fuel carriers from Turkey and Panama,” the statement added.
