Iraq, Iran agree to boost mutual relations

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Iraq and Iran on Wednesday agreed on a roadmap to activate economic, trade, cultural and scientific relations, and to increase mutual trade volume to $5 billion, according to a release issued by the Iraqi Ministry of Trade. “This came at the end of the Iraqi-Iranian committee meeting,” said the release that was received by IraqiNews.com news agency. “The Iraqi Minister of Trade, Abdul Falah al-Sudani, headed the Iraqi side, while the Iranian team was headed by Iran’s Foreign Minister, Manouchehr Mottaki,” it added.
