Jaafary, Shawis discuss upgrading relations between Baghdad, Erbil

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Head of the Iraqi National Alliance, Ibrahim al-Jaafary discussed with the Deputy Prime Minister and leading figure within the Kurditani Alliance, Ruz Nouri Shawis, the means to upgrade the relations between the center and Kurdistan Region as well as activating the mutual commissions between both sides in order to settle the pending issues.

A statement by Jaafary’s office cited that “Jaafary received Shawis and his accompanied delegation last night where they exchanged views over the political process in Iraq.”

“The two sides also discussed the security breaches which hit Baghdad and other provinces last Monday,” according to the statement.
