Gang arrested in Babel [07/30/2013]

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) A security force arrested gang specialized in forging currency to the north of Babel province.The Ministry of Interior reported in statement received by IraqiNews.com ”The national security patrols in cooperation with Babel Police Department launched a raid operation in Mussayib district of northern Babel province.””The security operation resulted in arresting a six person belong to a gang and confiscated forged currency amount of USD (140,000), ” noting that ”The security operation was based on intelligence information,” the statement added.”The detainees were referred to the concerned authorities for investigation,” the statement concluded.
