CBI sells $662m this week

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Demand on the dollar during the Central Bank of Iraq (CBI) auctions this week went well over $662 million at a stable exchange rate of 1,170 Iraqi dinars per dollar for the fourth week in a row. The CBI dollar sales this week hit $662.780 million compared to last week’s $566.635 million, including $168.870 million in cash and $493.910 million in foreign transfers. The Central Bank of Iraq runs a daily auction from Sunday to Thursday. AmR (P) 1
