Ghanami announces success of security plan dedicated for martyrdom anniversary of Imam Ali

Najaf (IraqiNews.com) The Commander of Middle Euphrates Operations, Lieutenant General Othman al-Ghanami, announced the success of the security plan dedicated for the anniversary of Imam Ali martyrdom.Ghanami held a joint press conference with the Commander of Najaf Police Department, Brigadier Abdul Karim al-Ameri, attended by the correspondent of IraqiNews.com ”The security plan was applied with a pinpoint accuracy amid difficult conditions and the plan succeeded without any security breach through the support of AirForce and coordination of neighbor provinces though all terrorist challenges and the blasts that took place in Iraqi provinces.”The Commander of Najaf Police Department, Brigadier Abdul Karim al-Ameri, stated that ”Najaf is an important province since there are many holy shrines there and terrorism targeting this province, thus the security plan will last till further notice on the background of recent security breaches.” END
