18 sewage projects launched in Thi-Qar

THI-QAR / IraqiNews.com: Eighteen sewage projects have been launched in Thi-Qar at a total cost of nearly $70 million U.S. dollars, the head of the sewage sector in the province said on Sunday. “Fourteen of these projects will be carried out in Nassiriya, two in al-Rifaie, one in al-Jabayesh district and another in al-Shatra district,” Tareq Hadi Badr said in a statement received by IraqiNews.com news agency. Rain water drainage networks and sewage systems will be established in the neighborhoods of al-Mansouriya, al-Salihiya al-Owla, Sumar al-Thaniya, Dour al-Dhubbat, Ur al-Owla and al-Mutanazzah, according to the statement.
