My visit supports Iraq reconstruction– German FM

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: German Foreign Minister Dr. Frank-Walter Steinmeier said that his visit to Baghdad aims at supporting the rebuilding of Iraq and reinforcing the country’s democratic foundation, according to a release issued by the German Media Center on Tuesday. “The Iraqi government has succeeded throughout the past months in achieving important successes with respect to the political stability in Iraq,” the German minister said before he departed Berlin. “The visit expresses our intention to support Iraq,” he added.
