CBI announces decline in USD $ sales during Sunday auction session

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Central Bank of Iraq announced a decline in dollar sales in the auction session of Sunday compared with Saturday auction session where the dollar sales volume reached a total of USD $188,759,000.

The CBI reported in statement received by IraqiNews.com ”During Sunday auction session the CBI sold USD $162,078,000 at a rate of 1166 Iraqi Dinars per $1 USD with the participation of 13 banks.”

”The price of dollar cash sale reached 1179 Iraqi Dinars including the commission deducted by the CBI while the price of bank transfers reached 1171 IQD,” the statement added.

”The CBI will continue selling USD dollar in return of 1166 Iraqi dinar within the same commission,” the statement concluded.
