Planning minister urges more development alternatives

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The Iraqi minister of planning on Sunday called on the government to find alternatives for economic development through activating the sectors of industry and agriculture, and not to rely on oil revenues. “Iraqi national forces should give more importance to the economic dialogue than the political dialogue,” Minister Ali Mukhtar Baban said in a press conference that was held at his ministry. “The state should change its economic philosophy,” he added.
