UAE company to conduct 3 projects in Karbala

KARBALA / IraqiNews.com: Karbala’s Investment Commission has signed three agreements with a United Arab Emirates company to conduct several projects in the province at a cost of over $50 billion U.S. dollars, according to a local official. “The agreements provide for the establishment of three huge projects,” a media spokesperson for the commission, Raed al-Assli, told IraqiNews.com news agency. “The agreements were made during a visit by an Iraqi delegation to the United Arab Emirates nearly two weeks ago,” he added. The projects include the establishment of New Karbala City on an area of 25-28 square kilometers near al-Razaza lake.
