Kurdistan RegionG, S. Korea sign cooperation protocol

SULAIMANIYA / IraqiNews.com: A Kurdistan Regional Government Kurdistan RegionG) delegation to Seoul on Tuesday signed a cooperation protocol with the South Korean government under which the latter will have supervision over Arbil airport. “The protocol was signed by the minister of natural resources in the regional government, Ashti Horami, in the presence of Kurdistan’s Prime Minister Negervan al-Barazani and several Iraqi and South Korean officials,” a source close to the regional government told IraqiNews.com news agency. Yesterday, Iraqi President Jalal al-Talabani arrived in the South Korean capital on a visit that aims to foster mutual cooperation between the two countries.
