British companies urged to contribute to Iraq’s reconstruction

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The Iraqi minister of finance on Tuesday called on British companies to participate in the reconstruction process that is currently taking place in Iraq. Minister Baqir Jabr al-Zubeidi received a delegation comprised of senior British officials in the presence of the British ambassador in Baghdad, Christopher Prentice, according to a statement released by the Finance Ministry and received by IraqiNews.com news agency. The Iraqi official urged British firms to contribute to the rebuilding of Iraq’s infrastructure and to invest in the fields of energy, electricity and housing. SS (P) 1
