Maliki demands to support agricultural sector

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Prime Minister, Nouri al-Maliki, demanded to take advantage of the Government gesture in granting agricultural loans and providing modern machines.The Media Office of the Premier reported in statement received by IraqiNews.com ”The Premier hosted a delegation of the General Union of Agricultural Cooperative Associations at his office in Baghdad ”The Government expressed keen interest in supporting agricultural sector to upgrade the agricultural sector to the required level,” noting that ”We are working seriously to address all the damages that effected the agricultural sector due to wrong polices of former regime.””Maliki called to promote industrial and agricultural sectors and not to depend on Oil export revenues in building Iraq’s economy,” the statement added.”The members of the delegation expressed thier willingness to exert utmost efforts to take advantage of governmental support for agricultural sector,” the statement concluded. \END\
