Reconstructing Iraq needs developing oil reality – deputy premier

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Iraqi Deputy Prime Minister, Burham Saleh, said on Friday that reconstructing Iraq needs the development of the current oil reality. “We need to develop the oil reality in the country within the current oil prices,” Saleh said during a forum on reviewing the oil policy in Iraq. Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki also called for increasing oil and gas production and exportation to achieve development and security in the country. “It is necessary to increase the production and exportation of oil and gas to achieve security and development in Iraq,” he said in the forum aired by satellite channels.
