1st Kut trade fair wrapped up

WASSIT / IraqiNews.com: The proceedings of the 1st trade fair in the city of al-Kut wrapped up on Saturday with the participation of 50 local and international companies, Wassit province’s information director said. “The fair’s two-day meetings on enhancing infrastructure and Iraq’s economy were held under the aegis of Iraqi businessmen, the business development center in the province and the Wassit Reconstruction Team in tandem with the local administration,” Majid al-Atabi told IraqiNews.com news agency. “They even showcased the products of exhibitors which included irrigation, farming and harvesting machines and equipment as well as power generators, Hyundai vehicles, foodstuffs, ready-to-wear garments, auto spare parts and light electronic and electrical devices,” he added. Atabi noted that the fair aims to stimulate economic growth in the province and promote local, Arab and foreign corporations’ products.
