MP Calls to reward security elements with financial allowances

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Abdul Mahdi al-Khafaji, of the Iraqi National Alliance called the Government to grant the security elements, who serve in disturbed areas, financial allowances in return for risks.Khafaji reported in statement received by IraqiNews.com that ”The Government should grant security elements, who are preserving security in disturbed areas, double salary or IQD (750,000) similar to the security elements in the senior areas in order to encourage them to combat terrorism.””The amount will be as a reward for security elements who are sacrificing their lives to protect Iraq and its people by combating terrorism and armed groups,” the statement concluded. \END\
