MP confirms difficulty of confronting corruption

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Mohamed al-Daami, of the Iraqiya Slate assured that confronting the financial and administrative corruption in the State institutions is difficult because officials are not serious in this regard.

He stated to IraqiNews.com “We wish the governments to form committees in all the ministries to reveal corrupted figures.”

“We visited many sport projects and we see some of them are not complete though they were started in 2007,” he added.

He called “The Parliamentary Integrity Committee to submit their reports to the judicial sides to take legal measures against the corrupted figures,” he concluded.
