MP calls Maliki to announce State of Emergency due to security breaches

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Jaafar al-Mousawi, of al-Ahrar bloc within the Sadr Trend, called on Prime Nouri al-Maliki and the General Commander of the Armed Forces to “Announce the State of Emergency due to the repeated security breaches.”

Speaking to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com), he said “We call to announce the State of Emergency in Iraq and attack the terrorist sites in addition to protect the Iraqi-Syrian borders to reduce the terrorist attacks.”

He called “All the political sides to support the security forces and not to blame them because it is for the benefit of terrorism.”

“When the political sides are supporting the security forces, the terrorism will be defeated and eliminated,” he concluded.
