Maliki’s office: PM supports demonstrators’ demands through Government, his bloc

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Premier, Nouri al-Maliki, announced his support for the demonstrators’ demands to cancel MPs’ pensions.
A statement by the Premier’s office received by IraqiNews.com “Maliki expressed support for the demonstrators’ call to cancel MPs’ pension and to amend the salaries system.”
“PM will work on supporting these demands through the government and through his bloc in the parliament,” the statement concluded.
