Health Committee denies intention to investigate Health Minister

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Parliamentary Health Committee denied its intention to investigate the Health Minister, Majeed Ameen, over some corruption issues.

The member of the Committee, Jawad al-Bazoni, stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “We did not decide to investigate Ameen and the head of the Committee, Liqaa al-Yasin, intended to investigate him, but we are not informed about it were we asked her to study this case.”

“We decided to host him in the Committee to discuss some problems related to the health sector such as the lack of the staff and some other issues where we decided to investigate him, if he has been proved neglectful,” he concluded.
