Mashhadani reveals plots to divide Iraq, Syria according to sectarian bases

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The former Speaker, Mahmoud al-Mashhadani, revealed that there are regional plots to divide Iraq and Syria into smaller countries according to sectarian bases.

A statement received by IraqiNews.com quoted him as saying while meeting a delegation from Diyala province “There are hints over regional and international plans to divide some Arabic countries.”

“The preliminary indicators prove such plots,” he added.

He called “The political blocs to avoid sectarianism and to consolidate the national identity that involves all communities.”
