Some security elements not qualified to use weapons, says Taha

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Shwan Mohamed Taha, of the Security and Defense Committee stressed that some security elements are not qualified well to use weapons.

He stated to IraqiNews.com “We need to buy explosive detecting devices for the country but some officials within the Ministry of Interior are delaying such contracts because of their concerns over suspicions regarding corruption.”

“We need to new techniques and training courses for the security forces because some of them are not qualified,” he added.

“The security policy in the country is not clear,” he concluded.
