Deputy premier, Russian envoy take up economy, trade

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Deputy Prime Minister Rafie al-Issawi on Thursday discussed with the Russian ambassador to Iraq means of expanding economic and trade cooperation between the two countries. “The two officials discussed several issues of mutual concern, the most important of which is ways to expand economic, trade and service cooperation between Baghdad and Moscow in a way that boosts good relations between the governments of Iraq and Russia and serves the interests of the people of both countries,” according to a statement released by Issawi’s office and received by IraqiNews.com news agency.
