Nijaifi, head of UNDP in Iraq discuss issues of mutual concerns

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Speaker, Osama al-Nijaifi, and the head of the United Nations Development Program in Iraq, Adam Abid al-Mawla, discussed a number of issues of mutual concerns.

A statement by Nijaifi’s media office received by IraqiNews.com cited “Nijaifi received Mawla and stressed the parliament support for the UNDP to consolidate the general interests.”

“Mawla expressed his gratitude for the parliament for its continuous support for UNDP in Iraq and confirmed the importance of enhancing the role of the general sector through the endorsement of the General Service Law,” the statement concluded.
