Salah-il-Din, Tikrit (IraqiNews.com) Four policemen were wounded when an Improvised Explosive Device exploded to the east of Tikrit city on Friday.
A source within Salah-il-Din police told IraqiNews.com ”The IED exploded targeting a police patrol in Salman Bek area within Tuz Khormato district of eastern Tikrit.”
”The explosion of the IED resulted in wounding four policemen of the patrol and caused material damage to the police vehicle,” the source added.
“The security forces harried to transport the wounded policemen to the hospital and launched a raid campaign looking for the perpetrators,” the source concluded.
