345 policemen poisoned in Tikrit Police Academy

Salah-il-Din (IraqiNews.com) More than 345 policemen including two officers within Tikrit Police Academy were poisoned on Monday.

Security source stated to IraqiNews.com “poisonous meals resulted in poisoning 345 policemen.”

“The ambulances hurried to the Academy transferring the policemen to the hospital for treatment,” noting that “Some of the critical cases were sent to Baghdad.”

“This is the third accident of its type within two months,” the source concluded.
