Belarus says ready to build power stations in Iraq

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Belarus expressed readiness to build power plants and make gas cylinders in Iraq during talks held by Iraq’s charge d’affaires Tareq Abdulmalek in Minsk with the Belarusian undersecretary for energy, an Iraqi official source said. “The two sides reviewed the Belarusian expertise in the field of energy and extension of gas lines to houses and the gas cylinders industry,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency. “The Belarusian official said a delegation can be sent to Iraq to ponder vistas of cooperation in the domain of building main or secondary power plants,” he added.
