French-Iraqi committee resumes meetings in Paris

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The Joint French-Iraqi Committee will hold its 11 th session in the French capital to discuss means of cooperation between the two countries. “The joint French-Iraqi Committee will resume its meetings in Paris from March 20-24, 2009,” according to a statement published on the web site of the Iraqi Foreign Ministry. Iraqi Minister of Oil Hussein al-Shahrestani will lead the Iraqi delegation, which will also include representatives of several ministries and the Chambers of Commerce. The French minister of economy, industry and employment, Christine Lagarde, will lead the French side in the meeting. SS (P) 1
