Urgent – 7 persons killed, injured western Baghdad [09/06/2013]

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Seven persons were killed and injured due to an explosion of an Improvised Explosive Device near a mosque of western Baghdad.

A security source stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “An IED which was emplaced near Mohammed Mosque exploded to result in killing two citizens and injuring five others.”

“The security forces hurried to the explosion area and transferred the injuries to the nearby hospital for treatment and the dead bodies to the morgue,” the source concluded.
