6 persons killed, injured northern Baghdad

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Seven persons were killed and injured due to an explosion of an Improvised Explosive Device emplaced in Omer Bin Abdul Aziz St. of northern Baghdad.

A security source stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “An IED which was emplaced in Omer Bin Abdul Aziz St. of northern Baghdad, exploded to result in killing a citizen and injuring five others.”

“The security forces hurried to the explosion area and transferred the injuries to the nearby hospital for treatment and the dead bodies to the morgue,” the source concluded.
