Police Regiment attacked in Salah-il-Din

Salah-il-Din (IraqiNews.com) Unidentified armed group targeted a headquarters of a police regiment in Shurqat district of northern Tikrit on Monday.

Security source stated to IraqiNews.com “The armed group launched two mortar shells targeting the headquarters,” noting that “The attack resulted only in material damages.”

“The security forces started a search operation to capture the doers yet it failed,” the source concluded.
