Kurdish MP expects ratifying pending laws during current parliament\

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP Shuan Mohamed Taha of the Kurdistani Alliance expected the endorsement of the pending law drafts during the current parliament term.

Taha told Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “There are political disputes over some laws such as the parliament elections law, the Federal Court law, and others where some MPs are working on approving these laws during the current term of the parliament to avoid delaying these pending laws to the coming parliament.”

Concerning the news on prolonging the parliament’s term in case the controversial laws were not approved, Taha said “We have enough time to ratify these laws and no need for extending the parliament’s term.”
