Police officer killed in western Mosul

Nineveh (IraqiNews.com) A police officer was killed in western Mosul on Saturday.

Security source stated to IraqiNews.com “An Improvised Explosive Device emplaced near an unidentified dead body went off in al-Mahlabiya area targeting the police major, Salih Sayir Ahmed, killing him.”

“The security forces blocked the explosion area and transferred the dead body to the morgue,” the source concluded.
