Qadissiya University conference on Iraqi economy, global crisis

DIWANIYA / IraqiNews.com: The Faculty of Administration and Economy in Qadissiya University on Tuesday launched its first conference on Iraqi economy and the global economic crisis with the participation of a large number of researchers from all over the country. “Entitled ‘Administrative and Economic Sciences: Main Pillar of Iraqi Economy,’ the conference tackles 110 pieces of research that mainly covers the global financial crisis and means of boosting the Iraqi economy…,” the dean of the faculty, Moussa Khalaf, told IraqiNews.com news agency. “Over 300 researchers from different Iraqi universities are expected to attend the two-day event,” Khalaf noted. Established in 1987, Qadissiya University has several faculties: education, physical education, science, medicine, veterinary medicine, law, engineering, administration and economy, agriculture, arts, and computer science. Diwaniya, the capital city of Diwaniya province, lies 180 km south of Baghdad. SS (P) 1
