Abtan calls government to assign contracted engineers with its ministries

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Abdul Hussein Abtan, of the Parliamentary Economy and Investment Committee, called the government to assign the contacted engineers with its ministries in all provinces.

In a press conference held at the parliament building, he said “Iraq witnesses a development in the construction projects in all the ministries and the Iraqi engineers hold the responsibly for the performance of the projects where the government has to assign the contracted engineers and make them permanent employees.”

“Najaf is the best province in performing the strategic projects such as Najaf International Airport,” he added, noting that “These projects were constructed by Iraqi engineers and the government should honor them to make them its employees.”
