Police Colonel assassinated in Mosul

Nineveh, Mosul (IraqiNews.com) A police officer with a Colonel rank was killed in an armed attack to the east of Mosul city.

Security source reported to IraqiNews.com “Unidentified gunmen opened fire targeting a police Colonel, works within the Federal Police forces at Baghdad International Airport, killing him, in Ghufran neighborhood of eastern Mosul city.”

”The victims was attending Nineveh Traffic Directorate to finish his vehicle transfer transaction,” the source added, ” The security forces transported the victim dead body to the morgue.”
