Military delegation arrives in Kirkuk

KIRKUK / IraqiNews.com: A delegation from the Iraqi defense ministry arrived in Kirkuk on Wednesday to meet officials and to be acquainted with the military situation there, according to an army source. “Chief of Staff, Lieutenant General Babakr Zebari, and Commander of the Iraqi Air Force, Lieutenant General Anwar Hamad, arrived in Kirkuk on Wednesday leading a delegation from the defense ministry to meet miitary officials in the province,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency. “The delegation will meet Kirkuk deputy governor, Eihsan Abdul Majid, and deputy chairman of the provincial council, Ali al-Salehi,” he added. “The delegation will then visit Kiwan military base in west of Kirkuk,” he also said.
