Commander of Nineveh Operations Command survives assassination in Mosul

Nineveh, Mosul (IraqiNews.com) The Commander of Nineveh Operations Command survived an assassination attempt by suicide bombing in Mosul.

Security source reported to IraqiNews.com ”A suicide bomber detonated his explosive motorbike targeting the motorcade of the Commander of Nineveh Operations Command, Colonel Ismaeel al-Jebuori, near the head quarter of NOC, which is situated near the house of Nineveh Governor Atheel al-Nijaifi, in Mosul city.”

“The Colonel was wounded due to the explosion that caused material damages to the motorcade vehicles,” the source concluded.
