Kurdish MP warns big blocs from interfering in distributing quota seats of Kurdistan Region elections

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Emad Yohana, of al-Rafidain bloc warned the big blocs participating in the elections of Kurdistan Region not to interfere in the distribution of the quota seats.

In a press statement received by IraqiNews.com, he said “The competition must be the last word where the voting process must not be directed to a certain bloc or community.”

“The election of Kurdistan Region to witness the formation of new political blocs and reformation to the political map,” he added, appreciating “The efforts of the Independent High Electoral Commission in preparing to the elections that will be held on next Saturday.”

He called “The political blocs to adhere to democracy and flexibility in addition to accepting the others.”
