MP condemns repeated assassinations by silenced weapons in Basra

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Mansour al-Timimi, of the State of Law Coalition condemned the repeated assassinations by the silenced weapons in Basra.

In a press statement received by IraqiNews.com, he said “Some citizens were subject to the assassination attempts which negatively affect the citizens in Basra and should not be ignored.”

“The citizens in Basra welcomed the decision over dismissing Basra Police Commander, but they are upset because he did not leave his post and continue his tasks where we call to dismiss him and implement the decision,” he concluded.
