Urgent – .Car bomb explodes in Tuz-Khurmatu

Salah-il-Din (IraqiNews.com) More than 28 persons were either killed or injured due to a car bomb explosion in Tuz-Khurmatu district of eastern Tikrit on Wednesday.

Security source reported to IraqiNews.com Wednesday “A car bomb driven by a suicide bomber exploded at Imam Ahmed neighborhood of Tuz-Khurmatu district to the east of Tikrit city,” noting that “The explosion resulted in killing three persons and injuring about 25 others.”

“Ambulances rushed towards the explosion scene to transfer the casualties to the hospital for treatment as well as transporting the dead bodies to the morgue,” the source concluded.
